Just before World War II, two laws were passed in Germany that had changed the lives of Jews in the 1930s, which are the Nuremberg laws. These laws are a part of the wrongdoings done to the Jewish people around the time of the second world war. This is important to know as these laws were increasingly leading to oppression and torment of Jews. Knowing this information today is important because before the Holocaust or World War II, Jews have been discriminated against for quite some time since Hitler was in rule. If the Jews were being treated unfairly, why wasn’t there anyone to help them? Today, we still have a long way from the oppression of others being over, but it is good to know this information so that it doesn’t happen again. If laws like these were to be targeted against a certain group of people or minority, would people and other nations help this time?
