From these two laws, a change has been present in the lives of Jews. During time of the passing of these laws, Judaism wouldn’t be considered a religion but rather a race (“Nuremberg Laws”). From the Reich Citizenship Law, the Jews that were German had their German citizenships revoked, as if they didn’t belong there (“Nuremberg Laws”). Even Jewish immigrants that were citizens before were denaturalized due to the effects of these laws (Bradsher). These laws have taken away many rights for Jews, them not being able to do as much things or have things available before the laws have been passed. As said in The Nuremberg Laws of 1935, “Additional laws during April 1933 targeted Jewish students at public schools and universities and those who worked in the legal and medical professions.” (Goss). From this quote, it shows that before the
Nuremberg Laws were passed, that Nazis had tried to outlaw Jews. |
